Job Description
We are looking for an experienced ERPNext Developer with hands-on expertise in customizing, implementing, and maintaining ERPNext modules. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of ERP workflows, strong programming skills in Python and Frappe Framework, and the ability to collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver efficient ERP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize ERPNext modules as per business requirements.
- Create and modify DocTypes, Workflows, Reports, and Dashboards within ERPNext.
- Develop and maintain custom scripts, APIs, and backend logic using Python and JavaScript.
- Integrate ERPNext with third-party applications and services as needed.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle — from requirement gathering to deployment and support.
- Perform system testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and training to end-users.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth ERPNext implementation and maintenance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in ERPNext and Frappe Framework.
- Strong programming knowledge in Python, JavaScript, and Jinja templates.
- Experience in custom app development within ERPNext.
- Good understanding of MySQL/MariaDB and database schema design.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, server management, and version control (Git).
- Familiarity with ERP functional modules (Accounts, HR, Sales, Inventory, Projects, CRM, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
Good to Have (Optional)
- Experience in Frappe Cloud or self-hosted ERPNext deployments.
- Understanding of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Docker or Linux-based environments.
- Contribution to the Frappe/ERPNext open-source community.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
